Manuela and Lars were married on a beautiful fall day in October at Mill One in Holyoke, bringing non-traditional food ideas to the table. We knew right away that they were looking for something with a twist, something fun and unique. To accomplish this Chef Daigneau brought to life a menu like no other that boasted such dishes as Elk Osso Bucco with Cheddar Cheese Green Onion Grits and Red Wine Pan Jus as well as Lobster Butter Glazed Grilled Jumbo Shrimp with Pumpkin Puree Mascarpone Risotto, Arugula Salad and Pomegranate Seeds.
For dessert, Manuela asked if we could create an ice cream station. To keep with his theme, Chef brought her idea to a higher level making the ice cream right in front of the guests! With delicious honey-lavender and chocolate ice cream flavors, guests had fun topping their treats with a wide variety of fixings!
To end the night, the Happy Couple and their guests were given a “Happy Couple meal”. A mini version of the all American classic treat, each box contained a gourmet beef slider and hand cut fries for guests to take home or snack on in the car!
