Recently a family came together to celebrate their Dad’s 80th birthday party. Their father, the beloved patriarch of the family, was always a “meat and potatoes” man. “Pop” wanted his meat and potatoes, however he was never satisfied with the end result. Always up for the challenge, Chef Daigneau guaranteed that Pop would have nothing less than the meal he wanted for his birthday.
At the end of the meal, Pop was not only pleased but asked if he could have it again – at his 90th birthday celebration.
